2 cups packed tight with basil leaves
1/2 cup of good quality extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup of pine nuts
3 garlic cloves
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix the basil, garlic and nuts in the magi mix and pulse
Add the olive oil
Season to taste with salt and pepper
We mixed our sauce with courgette spirals and topped with parmesan cheese crisped under the grill.
It makes a light sauce for white fish too.
